The Just Judge Mar 21

1 Peter 2:23 When he was reviled, he did not revile in return; when he suffered, he did not threaten, but continued entrusting himself to him who judges justly.
Jesus left the perfect example in His suffering and resurrection.  His actions went contrary to human nature for he opened not his mouth when being falsely accused and took the mocking and beating for us.  This does not mean we go around and let people use and abuse us, however, especially when standing for the faith we need to trust in God to be our defender.  When we are wronged it is natural to want to fight back and clear our name and reputation.  It is natural to want justice in suffering, but Christ knew His life was ultimately not in man's hands but God's hands, and in the end what God knows is more important than what man thinks.
