Proclaiming Praise Mar 6

Psalm 40:10 I have not hidden your deliverance within my heart; I have spoken of your faithfulness and your salvation; I have not concealed your steadfast love and your faithfulness from the great congregation.
David would likely disagree with the idea of a private faith.  He made a commitment to God to make His deliverance, salvation, love, and faithfulness public.  He boldly talked about Gods acts he had known as a shepherd and got an advancement to fight a giant.  He danced foolishly and praised when the ark of Gods presence entered the city.  He boldly spoke songs of praise to God before the nation, and God raised Him up to be King.  David was not expecting a blessing, but as He blessed God, He was blessed.  Let us give God praise today.  It will take us higher in Him and also may before men despite despisers.
