Grace in Suffering Mar 25
1 Peter 2:20 For what credit is it if, when you sin and are beaten for it, you endure? But if when you do good and suffer for it you endure, this is a gracious thing in the sight of God.
It is natural to go out of the way to avoid pain and discomfort. Sometimes doing the right thing brings rejection and suffering. People stuck in jealousy, pride, religion, deceit and lust will make it a point to criticize or even penalize you to make you an example for following the spirit. We are always in battle and evil powers are threatened when someone is operating in the freedom, power and truth of Gods Spirit. Daniel's coworkers conspired against him because they were jealous about the favor and position he had obtained as a godly man. He had grace to endure the lion's den and God brought him out victorious bringing punishment to his enemies. So God will do for all who patiently endure unjust suffering for His name.
