Hebrews 2:18 For because he himself has suffered when tempted, he is able to help those who are being tempted.
Christ is our ultimate counselor and friend because he went through every temptation and all suffering as a man without sinning or becoming bitter. Jesus was the perfect example of patience, humility and power. Other people can only help us so much because of personal baggage, bents and barriers, but our Savior is love perfected and love tested. He wants to hear your heart and struggle and give you the same grace to overcome as He did.
