Gods eye Feb 26

Psalm 33:18 Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear him, on those who hope in his steadfast love, 19 that he may deliver their soul from death and keep them alive in famine.

The Lord pays special attention to and gives special care to those who both honor Him for who He is and trust in His faithful love.  He protects them not only from spiritual death but physical death in times of calamity.  This does not promise us a life free from hardships, but God says he will watch us and take care of us.  That should make us love and trust Him more. What a wonderful heavenly Father!
