Feb 19-20

Feb 20.  Ecc 3:11 He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also, he has put eternity into man's heart, yet so that he cannot find out what God has done from the beginning to the end.
Everyone is born with the ability to sense eternity.  Whether we accept this or not, we can conceive of life that never ends beyond this life.  There is a sense of divine purpose and order in life and the earth as man experiences the cycle of birth, growth and death;  plowing, planting, and reaping.  In the end God makes it beautiful, even the hard times.  He has his hand in and over every season. This is how God shows Himself and we learn to trust and revere the Lord.

Feb 19. Leviticus 19:9 “When you reap the harvest of your land, you shall not reap your field right up to its edge, neither shall you gather the gleanings after your harvest.
God wants his people to be generous and known for their generousity.  The old testament principle was to leave the edges of the field unharvested for the poor and traveler to find food.  In the same way, we should always have extra time, money, and attention for people God may bring across our paths with needs.  Let us never be so stingy or busy that we only have enough for ourselves.  We are blessed to be a blessing!
