Seasons to Preach Feb 25

2 Tim 2:2 preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with complete patience and teaching.

There is the time for ministry that is in season.  The hearers are hungry, the way is wide open through a window of time, desire and resources.  Then there are those out of season times where there is criticism, negativity, lack and the flesh gets annoyed.  Paul says we need to be ready no matter the season.  It is easy to give with a friendly audience but not so much where there is hostility.  This is where we learn greater patience and how to push past our desires to obey the Spirit.
