The Final Authority and God of Justice

We see today a twisted spirit that is trying to undermine every established authority beginning with God and His infallible word and including every area of society such as parents, government, law enforcement and God's establishment as men being the spiritual and ordained head of the home. This perverse spirit hides behind the impassioned cries of the self-proclaimed victimized and oppressed who are only oppressed by their own rebellious, lustful spirits. If a person rejects God and His word as the final authority then they no longer operate from true legitimate authority but they are renegades to His will and way. Those who are not mature in God's word can be easily convinced by various leader's cries for justice and rights, but if those voices have rejected God law, they must be avoided or confronted not sympathized or joined!!

When you join a rebel you become a rebel. Many do not realize when they join a certain movement or position that they are really being used. The weak, the young, wounded and inexperienced are targeted. People are catered to for their vote, to legitimize sin; they are given an immediate service to perpetuate an evil. Those people become the true victims and slaves because they are being led by slaves to sin. When the blind lead the blind, both fall into the pit.

There is a difference between taking a righteous stand for a cause because of God's law being broken on any level such as in the case with human trafficking, the murder of the unborn, the persecution of religious minorities, or child abuse. There are many legitimate injustices that are incredibly painful and destructive to society. Eugenics the philosophy that the fit should "weed" out the poor, weak people in society was the foundation of the holocaust and the ideas of the founding of Planned Parenthood creating the greatest holocaust of all time. Many of these topics are never discussed because they might infringe upon a politically correct doctrine but they are a stench in God's nostrils. To stand for some of these causes could mean losing a job, being ostracized or even cut off from social media. Yet as believers, we are called to stand for those who cannot stand for themselves.

My friend and I watched a moving movie called "Priceless". It pictures the sex trafficking industry in our own country, that many are unaware of! Bill Wilson of Metro World ministries exposes the evils of child neglect and world hunger. He reaches kids that have been abused, neglected and left for dead abroad and in New York City with physical and spiritual food. There are huge needs in our own back door. Let us use our passion for justice to cover the notable causes: Where God's law is being broken and the innocent are suffering!!

2 Peter 2
9So you see, the Lord knows how to rescue godly people from their trials, even while keeping the wicked under punishment until the day of final judgment. 10He is especially hard on those who follow their own twisted sexual desire, and who despise authority.

2 Timothy 3
1You should know this, Timothy, that in the last days there will be very difficult times. 2For people will love only themselves and their money. They will be boastful and proud, scoffing at God, disobedient to their parents, and ungrateful. They will consider nothing sacred. 3They will be unloving and unforgiving; they will slander others and have no self-control. They will be cruel and hate what is good. 4They will betray their friends, be reckless, be puffed up with pride, and love pleasure rather than God. 5They will act religious, but they will reject the power that could make them godly. Stay away from people like that!

Romans 1
28Since they thought it foolish to acknowledge God, he abandoned them to their foolish thinking and let them do things that should never be done. 29Their lives became full of every kind of wickedness, sin, greed, hate, envy, murder, quarreling, deception, malicious behavior, and gossip. 30They are backstabbers, haters of God, insolent, proud, and boastful. They invent new ways of sinning, and they disobey their parents. 31They refuse to understand, break their promises, are heartless, and have no mercy. 32They know God’s justice requires that those who do these things deserve to die, yet they do them anyway. Worse yet, they encourage others to do them, too.

Jesus is the foundation for justice. He is the vindicator of the oppressed and the destroyer of the wicked. He alone brings truth and safety. Some have had a bad understanding of God the Father or Jesus because of earthly fathers or Christian figures that have failed, but Jesus is altogether different! Let us look to Him today for true justice and as our standard as it says in Isaiah 11:

2And the Spirit of the LORD will rest on him—
the Spirit of wisdom and understanding,
the Spirit of counsel and might,
the Spirit of knowledge and the fear of the LORD.
3He will delight in obeying the LORD.
He will not judge by appearance
nor make a decision based on hearsay.
4He will give justice to the poor
and make fair decisions for the exploited.
The earth will shake at the force of his word,
and one breath from his mouth will destroy the wicked.

Psalm 58
Do you really speak righteously, you mighty ones?[a]
Do you judge people fairly?
No, you practice injustice in your hearts;
with your hands you weigh out violence in the land.

Our job is to keep ourselves clean in this world and available. We should not argue with unbelievers but gently instruct so they may come to the truth. We should choose friends that seek God and walk in a godly way. When it comes time for God to choose someone to use, He will look in His china cabinet and find you a fine bone china dish or gold goblet sparkling clean and ready to fill and use for His purposes.

2 Timothy 2
20In a wealthy home some utensils are made of gold and silver, and some are made of wood and clay. The expensive utensils are used for special occasions, and the cheap ones are for everyday use. 21If you keep yourself pure, you will be a special utensil for honorable use. Your life will be clean, and you will be ready for the Master to use you for every good work.
22Run from anything that stimulates youthful lusts. Instead, pursue righteous living, faithfulness, love, and peace. Enjoy the companionship of those who call on the Lord with pure hearts.
23Again I say, don’t get involved in foolish, ignorant arguments that only start fights. 24A servant of the Lord must not quarrel but must be kind to everyone, be able to teach, and be patient with difficult people.25Gently instruct those who oppose the truth. Perhaps God will change those people’s hearts, and they will learn the truth. 26Then they will come to their senses and escape from the devil’s trap. For they have been held captive by him to do whatever he wants.
